The Story of Sip Thai

Sip Thai was established in 2014, born from our deep passion and years of experience in the restaurant industry. Together with my friend, we embarked on this journey by opening our first Thai restaurant in Redmond, Washington. Our mission was to share the joy of authentic Thai flavors, making every guest feel as if they were dining in Thailand.

Over the years, we’ve found immense joy in receiving praise from our customers for our delicious food and excellent service. This dedication to spreading happiness through Thai cuisine made Sip Thai a beloved spot in Redmond for eight years.

In 2022, we faced an unexpected challenge when a fire forced us to close the restaurant for a year. Despite this setback, our determination never wavered. We were committed to rebuilding our “new home” and serving our customers once again.

We aimed to reopen in our original Redmond location, but due to redevelopment and the demolition of the old building, it took us three years to finally open the Redmond branch again.

During that waiting period, we refused to let our passion fade. With the support of friends, family, and our dedicated team, we expanded to open new branches in Issaquah and Kirkland (Totem Lake). This expansion reflected our unwavering commitment and resilience in the face of challenges.

Every obstacle we encountered, especially in 2022, strengthened our resolve. Today, we are proud of how far we’ve come, and we continue to ensure that every dish we serve is fresh, delicious, and satisfying. We welcome all feedback because our customers are like family to us, and we strive to perfect our offerings for them.

Our commitment to sharing the joy of Thai cuisine will never end. We are deeply grateful to our team, our family, and our friends for their unwavering support, allowing us to open three branches. And most importantly, we thank our customers for their continued support over more than a decade.
