Job Description

Chef / Cook who prepares food following recipes and direction from the Lead Chef. To have knowledge to prepare and cook Thai Food according to the standards of our Thai Restaurant. To be able to come early to start the preparation of sauce, soups, roasts and other items that require a lot of time to cook.To help in the training of other cooks and kitchen staff. To help in the development and creation of new dishes for our Thai special menu.To be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods.To be able to control the quantity and quality of food as well as keep track of inventory and supplies.Must be able to correctly and safely use standard kitchen equipment.Salary: $28,000 - $35,000 a year (plus tips). Track record of strong work ethic, high sense of responsibility, positive attitude, dependable, ability to communicate effectively and good teamwork. Must have 5-10 years experience working as a chef within a Thai Restaurant / Knowledge of Thai Food. Weekend availability.
